SimonBrusher
An artist telling wholesome stories through drawings.
Hi, my name is Simon! I'm known as SimonBrother on other platforms, but I use this alias to show off my experience in art. I love to create original characters with many different backgrounds which shapes a story that many people will love.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who are you? (I go by Simon. I am diagnosed with Autism, and pronouns are He/Him!)Have I seen you before? (You might have. I'm well-known on YouTube, as I go by SimonBrother over there.)What inspires your work? (I've been exposed to all kinds of media surrounding talking animals, especially with ones that have them interacting with humans. While I haven't seen the show all that much, I guess I could compare my work to Daniel Tiger-- as it involves humans interacting with talking anthropomorphic animals.)What do you use to create your art? (I mainly use Krita, as it has been my go-to for about a decade. If I'm struggling on a piece, I use Clip Studio Art for some extra assistance.)Are you available for commissions? (Not yet, but if I'm comfortable with it... maybe soon.)Do you do art trades? (As in drawing-for-a-drawing at no cost? Well, yes, but not right now.)What themes or ideas do you explore? (I want to tell stories through drawings that are mostly wholesome, not hostile. These drawings feature characters from human to animal of any kind, big or small!)What are some topics that your drawings tackle? (A lot of them tackle comfortable, less sensitive topics such as making friends with any species, being/becoming a parent, understanding someone else's perspective, dealing with change... all the bits and pieces. The list goes on!)Are your drawings safe for children to look at? (I would say that my drawings are PG, but I would highly suggest asking a parent or guardian to look at my content, as there are some drawings that tackle topics that some adults understand better than kids that aren't considered suggestive or NSFW.)Are all artworks original? (Of course! If I use a character I do not own, I would credit who made it. None of my art is made with AI, or even AI-assisted. Pure human-made content!)Why do you assure people that your content is not AI generated in your drawings? (Because there are paranoid viewers who think real content is made with AI. I've been a victim to it before, as some of my drawings were accused of being "AI Slop" even if there's proof of it's authenticity. I think it's just haters hating.)Are you part of the Furry fandom? (No. While my animal characters may look like furries, I tend to compare them to anthropomorphic animal characters from popular media, like Disney or Nickelodeon. I may tag my posts towards furries to increase views, but that just about settles it.)Can I repost your content on other platforms with credit? (Even if you want to credit me, please do not post my content on other platforms. This would confuse others into thinking my content is yours, and I do not like that. You are allowed to share my content on Bluesky, and if you want to promote them on other platforms to help me grow my audience, please DM me.)Can I use your characters in my own drawings? (Only if you ask for permission. If you do and I accept, you must credit me as the owner of a specific character you chose to draw. Using a character I own without permission may lead to me requesting for you to take down a post or to repost it with credit to me. I really don't want to force a DMCA on you.)Can I use your characters in my own NSFW drawings? (No. Absolutely not. I will never allow my characters to be seen in any NSFW media.)Can I use your artwork/characters to promote a service? (Even if you want to pay me to do so, I will not allow it.)Can I use your content to train AI? (No. Do not even think of doing that.)Why do you only post on Bluesky? (I find it to be less chaotic than Twitter/X. You also have more control over moderation, such as omitting politics entirely.)
